Description
Indianapolis City-County Council President Vop Osili is issuing an apology after having a woman removed from the council meeting on Monday, June 9.
The woman, Lauren Roberts, is one of three who have come out and accused Mayor Joe Hogsett's former chief of staff, Thomas Cook, of sexual harassment.
Roberts was speaking to the issue when Osili questioned the relevance of her testimony. The two exchanged words, and then, Osili had Marion County sheriff's deputies pull Roberts from the room.
On Wednesday, June 11, Osili issued the following statement about what happened.
