Gov. Ron DeSantis signed two bills aimed at protecting condo owners from high fees and hardening condos for hurricanes during a visit to a Clearwater restaurant on Monday morning. Condo prices have skyrocketed in recent years due to regulations that came after the 2021 Surfside condo collapse that left 98 people dead.
