Severe thunderstorms brought heavy rain, flooding and lightning to the Tampa Bay area on Monday evening — damaging homes and businesses along the way. Lightning led to an evacuation at Tampa International Airport and a house fire in Pasco County. Plus, parts of Hillsborough and Hernando counties saw downed trees and serious flooding.
