Description
An Anderson man was sentenced for impersonating a homeland security officer and having Molotov cocktails on him.
In April 2025, a federal jury found 42-year-old Joshua W. Stearman, of Anderson, guilty of unlawfully possessing incendiary bombs and falsely impersonating an officer or employee of the United States.
Stearman was sentenced to 65 months – five years and five months – in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release.
