IMPD is investigating after an officer was shot on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 29 on the near west side of Indianapolis. On Aug. 5, IMPD announced that the 4th suspect in the shooting had been arrested. The suspect who was shot by police was still in critical condition. On the day of the shooting, police officers were responding to a report of a stolen car near 16th and Harding streets on July 29.
