Westfield police are searching for a suspect who police say fired shots at officers during a chase Tuesday afternoon. According to police, officers tried to stop a car in the area of U.S. 31 and 196th Street. Police said the driver didn't stop and then crashed the car. Police said the suspect fired multiple shots at officers after he got out of the car and ran from police.
