IMPD arrested a suspect in the shooting of a woman on Indianapolis' near east side after a lengthy SWAT standoff over the weekend, the department said. The incident was reported around 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2 in the 3100 block of East Washington Street, a few blocks east of Rural Street.
