Greenwood police are investigating after two people were found dead in a home Monday afternoon. Police told 13News that officers responded to a welfare check Aug. 4 at a home in the 600 block of Greenway Street, near U.S. 31 and Smith Valley Road. Officers arrived and found two people dead in a home. According to a police spokesperson, officers are waiting on a search warrant to go in the home again.
