Indiana State Police has been asked to investigate a police shooting that happened Sunday morning in Marion. According to ISP, around 10:15 a.m. July 27, officers with the Marion Police Department were called to a report of shots being fired near the intersection of West 4th Street and South Western Avenue. A passenger in a white SUV had reportedly fired shots at a pedestrian, according to police.
