Strangers are tasked with building connections in pods — and no, I'm not talking about "Love Is Blind." In "Building the Band," talented singers take part in a competition show about relying solely on chemistry to build their band, as the singers are in complete control in individual pods without ever seeing each other — only hearing the other singers' solo performance. "It's really about trusting your instincts. You go into this sight unseen," Brianna Mazzola said. "You have no idea who's on the other side of the booth, and you really just have to trust that the story that they're painting for you vocally and through conversations that you have while in the booths really adds up to the person that you envision in your head." Six bands are formed – including 3QUENCY, comprised of Wennely Quezada, Nori Royale and Mazzola – and compete to be the last band standing and win the $500,000 prize.
