Description
A Pendleton man, who worked with children who have autism, has been arrested for child molestation following an investigation by the Hamilton County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
According to a release from the Fishers Police Department, on Thursday, July 24, police arrested 31-year-old Alec Hegge on suspicion of "several" child sex crimes, including molestation of an infant.
Police say Hegge worked with children with autism as a registered behavior therapist at Changing Lives Behavior Analysis, Inc. in Anderson. He no longer works at the facility, which has been cooperating with the investigation.
"Incredibly concerning, because some of those children aren't even communicative. You know, they can't even communicate," Madison County Prosecutor Rodney Cummings said.
Investigators have not linked any crimes to the facility where Hegge worked.
