Description
A Pendleton man who worked with children who have autism has been arrested for child molestation following an investigation by the Hamilton County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
According to a release from the Fishers Police Department, on Thursday, July 24, police arrested 31-year-old Alec Hegge on suspicion of "several" child sex crimes, including molestation of an infant.
Police say Hegge worked with children with autism as a registered behavior therapist at Changing Lives Behavior Analysis, Inc. in Anderson. He no longer works at the facility, which has been cooperating with the investigation.
Police believe there may be more victims and are asking anyone who worked with Hegge or who believes their child may have been a victim to contact Det. Chris Borgmann at 317-595-3467.
