A suspect accused of shooting a woman on the northeast side of Indianapolis died after police shot him following a short chase that ended near Crown Hill Cemetery Thursday morning. Police initially responded to a report of a person shot in the 4800 block of North Ritter Avenue, near East 46th Street and Emerson Avenue, around 7:20 a.m. July 24. Police said the incident began as a "domestic violence disturbance."
