A man is charged with murder after allegedly shooting and killing a man at an Indianapolis bar.
Jereme Curtis Dillingham, 28, was shot outside the Mucky Duck bar in the 4400 block of Southport Crossing Drive, near the Southport Road exit on I-65.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 17. According to witnesses, Dillingham had protected a waitress from a furious customer. The customer was thrown out by a bouncer, but when Dillingham left the bar, the customer allegedly shot and killed him.
