IFD says one person lost their home after a residential fire Saturday afternoon on the near east side of Indianapolis. According to a social media post by the the Indianapolis Fire Department, around 3 p.m. on July 19, firefighters were called to a residence in the 200 block of Trowbridge Street, which is near East Washington Street and South Rural Street, on a report of a structure fire. When firefighters arrived, they said the heavy fire had extended to homes on both sides of the burning house.
