IMPD officers are investigating a deadly crash that happened Friday afternoon on the city's west side. The crash happened around 12:15 p.m. July 18 at the intersection of Miller Street and South Lynhurst Drive, near South Minnesota Street. An IMPD spokesperson confirmed a box truck hit a bicyclist, who was riding against the flow of traffic. The spokesperson confirmed there is no sidewalk in the area and said that bicyclists should ride with the flow of traffic if riding in the road.
