Police in Westfield say the body of a person was found Wednesday as officers tried to serve a search warrant. Investigators believe the death resulted from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. According to a City of Westfield spokesperson, police had attempted to serve the warrant Tuesday as part of an investigation into an alleged counterfeit sports memorabilia scheme.
