Description
IMPD on Monday, July 14 announced the arrest of a teen suspect in the fatal shooting of 12- and 24-year-old brothers on Indianapolis' west side over the weekend.
The 19-year-old male suspect is facing two preliminary counts of murder, police said. Formal charges had not been filed as of midday July 14.
The shooting happened around 4 a.m. Saturday, July 12 in the 5100 block of West 38th Street, west of Lafayette Road. Officers responding for an initial shots fired report found 12-year-old Izzy Offett and 24-year-old Wayland Coe inside a car with gunshot wounds.
