A 22-year-old man has been arrested after a stabbing early Wednesday morning in Westminster. The stabbing happened just after 4 a.m., in the parking lot of the Labor Works located at West 72nd Avenue and Federal Boulevard, according to Westminster Police. The suspect then left the scene in a vehicle, police said. Police pursued the suspect's vehicle until that pursuit ended near Interstate 76 and Interstate 70 in Arvada, where the suspect was taken into custody. Officers also located a stolen gun inside the vehicle. Preliminary information suggests that three people were outside waiting for Labor Works to open and got into an argument, which resulted in the stabbing. The 42-year-old stabbing victim was taken to a hospital for treatment. The investigation into the stabbing is ongoing, police said.
