Description
9NEWS Investigates has obtained a report in which a police sergeant claims he forgot to turn on his body worn camera while responding to the home of the city’s new chief of police during the investigation of a weapon discharge. On May 14, Jim Baird, who was two weeks out from being sworn in as Thornton’s new chief, fired his duty weapon in his kitchen while using the phone.
