A judge ruled Mayor LaToya Cantrell can move forward with her emergency trash contract in the French Quarter — but the fight isn’t over.
According to the mayor’s legal team and Henry Consulting, trash collection in the French Quarter and Downtown Development District is expected to begin July 31.
