Description
Seattle is doubling down on tiny home villages as part of its homelessness response, marking a significant shift in policy for the region. Two new villages are slated to open this fall, adding more than 100 units to the city’s shelter system.
The expansion comes with nearly $6 million in new funding from the King County Regional Homelessness Authority, which had previously distanced itself from the model.
