Surveillance video shows the moment a car plowed into Star Bukri’s Restaurant and Catering in Garland, Texas, on Oct. 12, 2025. The longtime Ethiopian restaurant was closing for the day when a customer accidentally accelerated into the building, damaging the front wall and counter. No one was seriously hurt, but the crash caused major structural damage. Owner Daniel Kassahun says his son and an employee were just inches away from the impact — and that he’s thankful everyone survived.
