A tow truck driver was seriously injured Monday after getting hit by their own wrecker, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office. It happened on the East Loop southbound ramp to I-10 east. The "tow and go" wrecker had stopped to help a stranded motorist on the flyover when an oversized 18-wheeler's load struck the tow truck. The tow truck then hit the driver, causing serious injuries.
