Why did the gator cross the road? It may be a question we’ll never know the answer to, since one in Sugar Land was stopped before making it. This 8-footer was spotted Monday night in the lanes of Highway 6 just north of Highway 90. According to the Sugar Land Police Department, the gator was removed from the road and relocated to what police said was a suitable habitat. The Sugar Land Police Department posted about the Labor Day gator on Tuesday morning, and the jokes in the comments followed.
