Three felony charges that have been looming over a Houston defense attorney for about a year have been dismissed, according to court records. Jason Terrell Johnson was arrested last year after he was accused of smuggling drug-laced papers to a client in the Harris County Jail. Authorities said he smuggled synthetic marijuana to a client during a court hearing with the help of the client's fiancé. Prosecutors said Johnson got paid an extra $2,000 to deliver the drugs.
