Description
An employee at the Memorial Hermann Medical Center in The Woodlands was recently fired after hospital officials said a recording device was found in a staff bathroom.
"While performing routine maintenance, the construction team discovered a recording device that had been installed in the staff, single-stall bathroom on the second floor, just outside the West Tower," an internal notice to employees said.
KHOU 11 News obtained copies of the notice via current employees, which appeared to be sent by hospital leadership. In the internal communications, hospital officials said security was alerted and the device was immediately removed.
