Manatee County deputies shot and killed a man who fired at them while barricaded in a home Wednesday night, according to the sheriff's office. At around 6 p.m., the MCSO Violent Crimes Task Force was reportedly serving a search warrant at a home on 63rd Avenue West related to a recent armed robbery.
