Football season in Tampa Bay is approaching and the USF football team hosted its annual kickoff luncheon at Armature Works on Wednesday afternoon to get things started. The event was sold out, with more than 600 attendees, including former Buccaneers Derrick Brooks and Martin Gramatica, for the second consecutive year. The feeling among the capacity crowd is that the Bulls are poised to take the next step under head coach Alex Golesh. "I think as the university's grown and as the football program's grown, the energy has become real," Golesh said after the luncheon. "We're the college football team here.
