Description
The Media School at Indiana University will no longer print the campus' student-run newspaper, the Indiana Daily Student, a day after the school terminated the director of student media, who advised the organization.
"If they're willing to violate the First Amendment for what they view as a business decision, it doesn't matter that it's print, it could go anywhere," IDS Co-Editor-in-Chief Mia Hilkowitz said.
What was once a daily paper has dwindled to now periodic print publications, as of earlier this year. The fourth printed edition of the IDS was set to hit newsstands Thursday morning, but the ink for it and the remaining publications this year won't finish drying.
