IMPD is investigating a shooting that happened Sunday afternoon on the northeast side of Indianapolis. According to IMPD, around 5:15 p.m. on Oct. 12, officers were called to the 6100 block of Dickson Road, near North Arlington Avenue and East 46th Street, on a report of a person shot. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot. He was taken to an area hospital in critical condition but later died.
