Earlier this year, Indiana introduced the new "blackout" license plates. Since then, the popular product has made the state more than $1 million. The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) announced Thursday that sales of the state’s new black license plate have surpassed 40,000, generating more than $1.3 million.
