The Alcoholic Beverage Board of Marion County has voted to deny a liquor license renewal request by Moon Bar & Grill in downtown Indianapolis. After more than an hour and a half of discussion Monday, the board voted 3-1 against the request, citing nuisance concerns from IMPD and opposition voiced by surrounding businesses and organizations. Metro Police showed up to the meeting with a laundry list of receipts: numerous calls for fights, underage bargoers and thefts, with more serious calls to the bar, including assaults and shots fired.
