A Morgan County data center has the green light to expand its footprint. In a 2-1 vote, county commissioners approved a 158-acre rezoning request for an unknown company to build a data center outside Monrovia. Commissioners previously approved 390 acres for the company in February. The site boundary follows State Road 42, North Antioch Road, Keller Hill Road and Union Church Road. Around 20 county residents came to speak against the project, concerned there hasn’t been enough transparency to understand it.
