Description

Police are investigating a shooting involving IMPD officers Thursday evening on the near east side of Indianapolis. The incident occurred in the 900 block of North Grant Avenue, near 10th Street and North Sherman Drive, shortly before 6 p.m. Oct. 2. According to an IMPD spokesperson, officers were conducting an investigation on a man who was wanted on a warrant. The officers confirmed the man was at a home on North Grant Avenue and began issuing verbal commands for him to surrender.
