A well-known northwest Indianapolis skating rink has withdrawn its request to seek a permit to serve alcohol. In a news release, Skateland – located at 3902 N. Glen Arm Road, near 38th Street and High School Road – said it met with local community leaders Wednesday, Oct. 2 for an "open dialogue and strengthen relationships focused on building unity and opportunity."
