Description
Five deputy coroners have resigned after allegations against the man who serves as the Johnson County coroner.
Court records allege that Mike Pruitt was stalking a 17-year-old girl through unwanted text messages. The girl's mother sought and received a protective order against Pruitt Aug. 20.
An Indiana State Police investigation is underway, but Pruitt does not face any criminal charges at this time.
