Description
What started as a 390-acre rezoning in Morgan County is growing even larger. On Monday, Sept. 29, the plan commission gave a green light to expand the proposed data center by 158 acres, despite heated opposition.
It was a case of déjà vu Monday night as the attorney for the controversial Google project in Franklin Township faced citizens at a special public hearing for a separate project. Joe Calderon, an attorney with Barnes and Thornburg, represents the client wanting to rezone 158 acres of farmland for a data center campus. The development is in addition to the 390 acres already rezoned in February. The site boundary follows Indiana 42, North Antioch Road, Keller Hill Road and Union Church Road.
