Description
A multi-day, multi-agency law enforcement campaign end with guns, drugs, money and over 100 violent criminals off Indianapolis streets.
"Operation Guardian" was an IMPD-led initiative with the help of:
- Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO)
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
- Homeland Security Investigations (HSI)
- Indiana State Police (ISP)
- U.S. Marshals Service
- Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI)
- Marion County Prosecutor’s Office (MCPO)
- Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF)
Officers arrested 116 violent offenders on several crimes as severe as murder. The youngest person arrested was 16 years old.
