The next death row execution in Indiana is just over two weeks away. The Indiana Parole Board listened to emotional testimony Monday about whether Roy Lee Ward's life should be spared during a daylong clemency hearing at the Indiana Government Center South auditorium. Ward’s attorneys told the five-member panel that he is not a severe psychopath as labeled during his two jury trials, both of which resulted in convictions with the death penalty.
