A Purdue University graduate and Columbus, Indiana native is one of 10 candidates chosen for NASA's latest astronaut class, announced during a ceremony at the Johnson Space Center in Houston Monday morning. Yuri Kubo, 40, was selected from roughly 8,000 other candidates.
