Hoosiers packed the Indiana Statehouse on Thursday, joining Indiana Democrats and Pete Buttigieg to rally against redrawing Indiana’s congressional maps. Redistricting has been an ongoing debate. Gov. Mike Braun said if he calls a special session on the topic, it could happen anytime between November and the beginning of January. He said he wants it to be a decision the lawmakers come to on their own. Indiana Democrats are hoping their rally will help persuade Republican lawmakers who may be on the fence about redistricting.
