Description
A man on death row is trying to avoid the death penalty next month and now his fight is giving the public a better understanding of how the state carries out the death penalty. It’s been understood Indiana uses pentobarbital as the primary drug in executions, but state documents now confirm that fact.
There have been concerns over the lack of transparency when it comes to executions and new documents filed in Roy Lee Ward’s appeal provide the public with a better understanding of how much the drug costs and what happens when it expires.
