A weekend traffic stop led to the arrest of a second suspect in a deadly 2024 shooting on Indianapolis' south side, IMPD announced Monday, Sept. 15. Around 5 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, an IMPD Downtown District officer pulled over a vehicle which police said committed two traffic infractions. IMPD said a backseat passenger had an active arrest warrant for charges of murder and robbery. That person, an 18-year-old man, was taken into custody, while the other three people in the car were released.
