Description
The Monon Trail is set to get a major safety upgrade at one of its busiest crossings.
The Indianapolis Department of Public Works announced plans for a pedestrian bridge at 86th Street, a project that will allow walkers, runners and cyclists to cross without worrying about traffic.
The $7 million project is being funded through the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization. Construction could begin by the end of 2029.
