Description

A jury convicted an Indianapolis woman for a triple deadly shooting in Broad Ripple in June 2023. Kara Hinds was found guilty on two counts of murder, one count of reckless homicide and one count of criminal recklessness. The jury found Hinds not guilty of battery by means of a deadly weapon and battery resulting in serious bodily injury. At her sentencing hearing on Sept. 12, Hinds was sentenced to 113 years in prison.
