With an upcoming stretch of hot, dry weather, the chance for drought will quickly accelerate across Indiana. Upper 80s with lots of sun will dry us out faster. We have already seen drought conditions increase across Indiana, but the pace of drought onset will rise. Many farmers we have talked to across Indiana have asked for another good sip of water or two before harvest, which is close and for some has already started.
