IMPD is investigating after a person was critically injured in a shooting on Indy's east side Sunday morning. According to IMPD, around 1 a.m. Sept. 7, officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 5400 block of East 16th Street, near North Ritter and Emerson avenues. When officers arrived on scene, they said they found a person shot. The victim is reported to be in critical condition.
