Lawrence police are investigating after a man was injured in a shooting Saturday evening. According to a release from the Lawrence Police Department, around 7:35 p.m. on Sept. 6, LPD officers were called to the 7300 block of East 54th Street on a report of a person shot. Police say an adult male victim was shot and was taken to Methodist Hospital in "serious" condition.
