One person was killed following a shooting on the far east side of Indianapolis. IMPD officers responded to the 9500 block of East 37th Place, near East 38th Street and North Post Road, on a report of a person shot. The officers found a victim who had sustained apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition where they were later pronounced dead.
